Neven and Mira Lušić are very studious people. The retired, married couple from Sesvet attributes their tendency towards accuracy and details mostly to their IT business background. Therefore, before making their decision, they took into account all available information to inform their decision about the best possible solution. As a rule, they are guided by the focus on savings and environmental awareness, two sides of an equally delicious cake, which is why they unanimously decided to install a solar power plant worth around 9,000 euros.
After ten months of using the solar power plant, we estimate that for the total energy consumed by our household, which includes electricity, gas, and fuel for the vehicle, we pay 80 percent less, financially, compared to the time before the installation of the solar power plant. At the same time, it should be said that after the installation of the solar power plant, we switched part of the gas consumption to electricity and we use an electric vehicle." - pointed out Neven, and added that it is difficult to make a detailed and precise assessment of the investment return, but according to rough calculations they expect it to be within five to six years.
