There is an abundance of wind and sun from April to November, which is the duration of the surfing season. Ponta Liberan, a beautiful pebble beach located in the center of Vignje, is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, especially windsurfing and kitesurfing, because it has ideal wind conditions. In the area, as well as throughout the entire Pelješac, there are more and more holiday homes and apartments for rent with new amenities such as built-in pools enjoyed by local and foreign surfers. In addition to tourism, olive growing and viticulture are the main economic activities of local residents.
Our host is Ivan Radovančić, a thirty-one-year-old yacht commander with a degree in yacht and marina maritime transport engineering, on whose family house we immediately noticed the solar panels.
