ENNA Next, a leading company in the domestic solar power plant market with more than 3,000 power plants sold to private users, is introducing a new product to its offer from the beginning of 2026, a battery system for storing electricity for households.
Battery systems represent the next major step forward in energy. Combined with a solar power plant, they enable almost complete energy independence and maximum use of the energy produced. Instead of sending surpluses to the grid and later withdrawing them at a higher price, the energy produced in solar panels is stored in a battery and used when it is most needed; in the evening, at night or during periods of weaker daylight. This ensures that every kilowatt-hour produced is used, which further encourages investments in solar power plants.
In addition to the greater utilization of solar energy, battery systems also provide additional security. In the event of a power outage from the grid, the battery can provide power to key household appliances such as refrigerators, freezers or heating systems that use electricity. Such solutions make households more resilient to future changes in electricity prices and reduce their dependence on the electricity grid.
ENNA Next battery systems come with a 10-year warranty, and premium equipment and professional installation by certified installers ensure long-term reliability and safety of use. After choosing the optimal solution, the system installation usually takes one day, while in more complex cases it can take up to two days, after which the system is immediately ready for use.
Strong growth of battery systems in the European Union
Battery systems not only contribute to greater self-sufficiency for households and businesses, but also play an important role in stabilizing the electricity system, which is increasingly reliant on renewable energy generation. As a result, batteries are becoming an integral part of the new energy reality in the European Union, which encourages the use of renewable sources, but also energy consumption at the point of production.
A record 21.9 GWh of new battery systems were installed in Europe in 2024, with households accounting for more than 50 percent of the total accumulated capacity. Germany leads the way, with almost 600,000 new home batteries in 2024, followed by Italy and the United Kingdom. New installations are expected to grow further by more than 30 percent in 2025.
ENNA Next will position itself as a smart energy hub
ENNA Next is an energy company within the ENNA Group focused on the development and implementation of smart energy solutions, ensuring security of supply and rational costs.
ENNA Next stands out on the Croatian market of solar power plants for households by using top-of-the-line equipment with microinverters, a 25-year warranty on the power plant equipment and 10-year insurance, and by offering battery systems for households, it now brings the next level of energy independence to private users.
