Zagreb, 8 July 2026 – Construction works on ENNA Group’s solar power plant in Romania are progressing according to schedule, with the latest aerial photographs confirming both the scale of the project and the steady progress being made on a daily basis.

The solar power plant, with an installed capacity of 87.5 MWp, is being built in Mihăilești, 25 kilometres south-west of Bucharest, and will cover an area of 93 hectares. The project also includes a battery energy storage system (BESS) with a power rating of 70 MW and a storage capacity of 140 MWh.

The investment in Romania represents ENNA Group’s first major investment outside Croatia.

Construction of the solar power plant commenced in December 2025, following the signing of an EPC contract in November of the same year between PVP Cepheus, owned by ENNA Solar, and the ENEVO Group.

Under the EPC contract, the ENEVO Group assumed responsibility for the entire implementation of the solar power plant project, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), with the project being delivered on a turnkey basis.

The plant is expected to enter commercial operation and begin supplying electricity to the grid in the first quarter of 2027.
