Zagreb, July 23, 2026 – The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund has issued a public call for the co-financing of the installation of solar power plants, battery systems, and heat pumps in households, with a total value of 38 million euros.
Applications will be accepted starting Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., exclusively via the link https://fondovi.gov.hr. Applications may be submitted only by citizens who are owners or co-owners of a family house and who also have their place of residence at that address. Applications will be accepted until the end of 2026 or until the funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first.
Up to 50 percent of the cost of installing a solar power plant and battery system will be co-financed, with citizens at risk of energy poverty eligible for 70 percent co-financing.
Eligible and justified costs under the Call are exclusively installation costs incurred from the date of the Call's publication, as well as advance payments made during the current calendar year. Also eligible is the cost of equipping the HEP ODS metering point, provided payment was made this year.
